About Me

Logan, Utah, United States
David and I met in Reno Nevada where both of our families were living. We dated for seven months and were engaged for five months. We got married in the Reno NV temple on July 3 2010. A month later we moved to Provo UT where we stayed for two years. David and I currently moved to Logan where David is working on his Masters and me on my bachelors. We were sad to leave Provo but we are excited for this new chapter in our lives!

Last Memories of Provo

One of the many fish that David caught in Provo. Nice!

Beautiful view of Provo and Utah Lake

We made it to the top of Squaw Peak!!

A beautiful place David found on our way to Squaw Peak trail

I found this pretty colorful caterpillar on a green leaf. I wanted to keep it, but on my way down the canyon, it fell and I accidentally stepped on it! Oops.

Garter snake. Pretty colors.

The gopher snake David caught. Someone walking down the trail was nice enough to take a picture of David and  the snake.

David found this gopher snake on Rock Canyon one afternoon and decided to leave it in one of the rooms so he could show it to me when I got off work. Oh boy was that a surprise!

David and I found out several months before that we were going to be leaving Provo, and heading to Logan, where David was to attend Utah State University where he would be working on his Masters in history. We were both really happy, but at the same time a little sad to leave friends and family behind.David's grandparents lived 45 minutes from Provo and David's sister Sara, only lived 30 minutes from us. We know we will be in Logan for at least two years until David finishes, and then we will be off to look for a good job! There will be so many exciting things to look forward to! At the meantime, in Provo Utah we had fun exploring the canyon that we lived close to. We will miss you Provo!

4th of July 2012

David and I had a blast for the 4th of July. All of my family got together at my parents house and went camping in the Boca Reservoir in California. We enjoyed of each other's company and we had a lot of fun in the woods hitting piñatas and eating carne asada!  Before the big camp-out we went to the Sierra Safari Zoo, and looked at some cool animals. I was pretty excited because I had never gone to the Reno zoo after living in Reno for 17 years! David had warned me that it wasn't going to be that amazing. Haha. I will be honest though, after leaving the zoo that day I was feeling sad for the animals that were caged in. It was fun hanging out with the family though!

Camping. Jonathan was having a swell time!

It was a 4th of July Piñata! How fun!

General Conference Weekend

Rudy, Jamie, Baby Jonathan, Esther and Raquel came to visit Utah for General Conference. We had the opportunity to  have all of them stay the night at our house Saturday night. We had a lot of fun playing with Jonathan and getting to know him better. We enjoyed having them here and watching conference with them. Thanks to the Carters for driving Raquel and Esther here!  I miss them so much!

Squaw Peak Hike

So.. during Spring Break, David and I went on a little hike. It was such a beautiful day that we couldn't resist. There is a big mountain right by our place and we've heard it's a tough hike. We knew there was going to be snow at the top, but we wanted to make it an adventure! We though, did not make it to the top, it was too slippery and icy. We did have fun falling on our bottoms and sliding the whole way down. '
That point of the mountain is Squaw Peak

You can't really see them (unless you pay really close attention) but there are several people rock climbing. It was pretty awesome to see!

The majority of the hike up there was all snow
