About Me

My photo
Logan, Utah, United States
David and I met in Reno Nevada where both of our families were living. We dated for seven months and were engaged for five months. We got married in the Reno NV temple on July 3 2010. A month later we moved to Provo UT where we stayed for two years. David and I currently moved to Logan where David is working on his Masters and me on my bachelors. We were sad to leave Provo but we are excited for this new chapter in our lives!

Meeting Jonathan 10/04/2011

I met Jonathan for the first time in Utah, October 4th. Jamie and Rudy came to show off there new baby, and we were also able to attend General Conference with them.

Jonathan is such a cutie! He has big eyes and is very attentive

It's My Birthday! (Aug 20th)

For my birthday David took me to a play of the "Sound of Music." It was playing in Sundance. We were both so excited. After getting off from work, we headed up there where we enjoyed the rest of the night.

David and I

This cake was given to me by my manager Terry. Our branch at the bank, celebrated my birthday.

David bought me these beautiful flowers that came with a really sweet birthday card.

I took this picture when driving up to Sundance to watch the play. It was a really pretty  drive!

Waiting for the play to start

4th of July in Reno, NV!

It's been a while since I've updated my blog and I feel so bad because these pictures are from the 4th of July. I have decided though, to update my blog from where I left off. These pictures were taken in Sand Harbor California when David and I went to Reno to visit our families. We also visited Reno to say goodbye to Sammy who was leaving on his mission. We had so much fun!

Mia-Shalom Girls Camp July 2011

This Year I had the opportunity to go to Girls Camp with the Young Women as a leader. We made it to Camp in an hour and 40 minutes. Even though I was only there for 1 day, it was a great experience for me. I had a lot of fun and I enjoyed spending time with the girls. The weather wasn't that great the first couple of days. It rained Tuesday and Wednesday. I arrived Wednesday evening. We had lots of rain and hail and a night with lots of thunder!! The next morning the sun came out and it was beautiful. I went on a hike with some leaders and we saw some beautiful views!

Let's Hike Up to the Y!!!

This is our second time hiking up to the Y trail in Provo. The first time we went, I almost passed out and died. I remember whining the whole time asking David, "Are we there yet?" I was so tired, David was a trooper. His pace was so much faster than mine, and he kept pushing me to keep going. THIS SECOND TIME, I did much much better! I never whined and I think I was even going faster than David!! :) We both did great! The view was amazing and everything was so green and pretty. David and I weren't as tired after we got to the Y letter, so we decided to keep on going and we went even higher!! It was great. (The Provo Temple is on one of the pictures...so small!!)

Provo Flood

Provo's weather lately has been really unpredictable. We have had sunny nice days, but also rainy ones! Our summer has been a wet one. We had a late summer start and because of that, the top of the mountains had snow still in the middle of June. With all the rain, it's causing the snow to melt...very fast. Here are some pictures of Rock Canyon Park, located 5 minutes of where we live. The park as you can see is flooded. It looks like a river!
