About Me

My photo
Logan, Utah, United States
David and I met in Reno Nevada where both of our families were living. We dated for seven months and were engaged for five months. We got married in the Reno NV temple on July 3 2010. A month later we moved to Provo UT where we stayed for two years. David and I currently moved to Logan where David is working on his Masters and me on my bachelors. We were sad to leave Provo but we are excited for this new chapter in our lives!

Reno

I went to Reno for a couple of days and was happy to see my family again. I was a little homesick, but after I got to Reno, I started missing David and started getting homesick again, and this time from being away from my husband. I am happy that I had the opportunity to see the Bolingbroke's and the Garcia's. Until next time!

My mom had an old friend come visit from Chihuahua, Mexico the day that I got to Reno. We haven't seen her in a long time. It was a really special treat. She used to babysit us when we were really young, and my mom has special memories of her. Sam and I can't quite remember her, but Ruth, Rudy and David have good memories of her. My parents were really happy to have her family visit, and to have me there too ( I think) :)
~David and Talia came that night~

Selene and her family took a tour of Lake Tahoe, with my dad being their tour guide. :)
My Mom and Selene were two happy ladies.

There was a car show at Lake Tahoe, we stopped to take pictures.

At the Circus Circus Casino. Raquel and I posing with a Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Talia and David came to see me before I left. I was happy to have seen them again.

Softball Tournament 09/03 - 09/04/10

David had a softball tournament in Price, Utah. We left Friday at 5:30pm and got there at 7:30pm. It was a long 2 hour ride but we carpooled with Johnny and his girlfriend Amanda. We had lots of fun in the car. David played from 8:00pm to 11:00pm that night, beating the teams that they played. David played the next morning and played all day. From 9:00am to 4:00pm. It was a long day for all of us, for David's team had lost.

David Playing

Reporting from Provo Utah!

Well things have been great for us in our small humble home here in Provo, Utah. On Sunday we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Bolingbroke's house where we spent time with them. We had a wonderful time having dinner and afterwards playing dominoes. Luckily we were also there with David's uncle Kevin and aunt and there 3 kids who where also visiting Grandpa and Grandma Bolingbroke because of David's aunt's birthday. We had so much fun playing with the pin ball machine. (sorry no pictures)
School started Monday which means we will have to start thinking about hom(ework, research papers, and tests, but overall we are glad that school has started again and is keeping me a little more busy.

Here is David modeling for us! (David says he wasn't modeling!) My brother Rudy bought David this shirt in Hawaii while he was on his honeymoon. One day David decides to try it on, and realizes he can barely breath. The shirt is super cute but super tight! I laughed so hard when David put it on and walked around the house with it. David was a little disappointed that the shirt didn't fit, but was happy to know that Rudy thought he was a "smaller" size.

Both times that I have gone to Grandma and Grandpa Boingbroke's house, we never leave empty-handed, she's given me corn, and squash and zucchini and broccoli that she has grown in her own garden. So I decided to make squash bread which I have never had and never made.

Here is a picture of the squash bread that I made yesterday. It's actually really yummy and David likes it a lot. I am blessed to have a husband who likes everything and tries anything!

Happy Birthday to ME!

For my birthday, David made me breakfast and he took me out to dinner after he got off work. We went to the Brick Oven for dinner and it was pretty good. Here is a picture of me before we went out that night. I was so excited I couldn't stop smiling.

We celebrated my birthday at Sara's on Monday, she made dinner and she made me a cake. That was so nice of her! Her cake was delicious!

Here is Sara and Brayden

Having fun with cute Olivia

Brayden did a great job helping me blow out the candles!

Outside our basement home

There is a really big mountain close to where we live, which you could see very well from outside our door, so we are not surprised about what our neighbors have to say about a mountain lion that likes to come down and hang out by our street and close to the area. Our neighbors have told us to watch out! We haven't seen it, but we have spotted a buck just outside our door so we know what that mt. lion is going after. One afternoon a little after twelve, I opened the door and to my surprise there was a buck outside our front driveway, I hurried inside to grab my camera and started taking pictures. So from now on, everytime I open the door I'm always keeping an eye out for that mountain lion and for deer. :)

Living at the Anderson's...

When staying at the Anderson's, David was ALWAYS finding weird animals. Here he has a blue bellied lizard.

David loved having his friend on his shoulder. After he got tired of playing with him, he let it go and the lizard hurried off crawling up the wall where he froze for a long time. I thought it would be neat to take a close up picture of the lizard. I was amazed at how close I got to it and it didn't even budge!

Results: Sweet picture!

David was also busy killing bunnies and whatever was a threat to sister Anderson's plants and flowers outside her house. She gave david a .22 and assigned him to kill bunnies especially. David was more than happy to help! He quickly got busy and got some of the job done. (he says he had missed some bunnies, but was successful with a couple) Here is a pic of one that he shot...
