Young Women Campout

The Young Women and some of the leaders went on a campout on Friday afternoon. We went to the Uintas National Forest, and hiked about 3 miles to get to the spot where we were staying overnight. I almost froze during the night. :)

Amy had a rough morning, we went on a hike in the morning and Amy fell in a mud pit and got stuck. In the picture, she is crying and smiling at the same time. Her pants were soaking wet, and she is holding the stick that I threw to her, which helped pull her out.

The Day Before Halloween

For Halloween, we had Felippe and Joana stay at our home. We had lots of fun hanging out with them. We don't see them very often because they live in Salt Lake, but we were lucky we were able to spend time with them on Saturday and Sunday morning. (They stayed the night)

Sara and Eric went on a hot date Saturday night, and we went over to babysit for them. I pulled out my camera, and Brayden knew exactly what to do, he sat with David and smiled. I loved it!
Brayden was so well behaved.






Olivia looked a little confused while David and I kept telling her to look at the camera. She was too busy studying the person that was holding her. She was wondering where Sara was in all this chaos.







Then she looked up and "click" a picture was taken.

At the Jensen's home, celebrating our 3 month aniversary! 10/03/10

Johnny (David's friend) and his parent's had a little celebration at their house with family and friends, celebrating our wedding. They couldn't make it to our actual wedding in Reno so they decided to celebrate it in Utah. The day that this was planned was also our 3 month anniversary, so it worked out great!

One of our gifts was the game Mario Kart Wii and a Wii controller. Now that we have 2 Wii controllers David and I can play against each other. ! :)

We were really happy! We had such a fun night, and it was a really nice surprise.

Reno

I went to Reno for a couple of days and was happy to see my family again. I was a little homesick, but after I got to Reno, I started missing David and started getting homesick again, and this time from being away from my husband. I am happy that I had the opportunity to see the Bolingbroke's and the Garcia's. Until next time!

My mom had an old friend come visit from Chihuahua, Mexico the day that I got to Reno. We haven't seen her in a long time. It was a really special treat. She used to babysit us when we were really young, and my mom has special memories of her. Sam and I can't quite remember her, but Ruth, Rudy and David have good memories of her. My parents were really happy to have her family visit, and to have me there too ( I think) :)

Our ward had a "Ward Luau" We had really good food and entertainment that night. We had so much fun!

Softball Tournament 09/03 - 09/04/10

David had a softball tournament in Price, Utah. We left Friday at 5:30pm and got there at 7:30pm. It was a long 2 hour ride but we carpooled with Johnny and his girlfriend Amanda. We had lots of fun in the car. David played from 8:00pm to 11:00pm that night, beating the teams that they played. David played the next morning and played all day. From 9:00am to 4:00pm. It was a long day for all of us, for David's team had lost.
