General Conference Weekend

Rudy, Jamie, Baby Jonathan, Esther and Raquel came to visit Utah for General Conference. We had the opportunity to  have all of them stay the night at our house Saturday night. We had a lot of fun playing with Jonathan and getting to know him better. We enjoyed having them here and watching conference with them. Thanks to the Carters for driving Raquel and Esther here!  I miss them so much!

Squaw Peak Hike

So.. during Spring Break, David and I went on a little hike. It was such a beautiful day that we couldn't resist. There is a big mountain right by our place and we've heard it's a tough hike. We knew there was going to be snow at the top, but we wanted to make it an adventure! We though, did not make it to the top, it was too slippery and icy. We did have fun falling on our bottoms and sliding the whole way down. '

You can't really see them (unless you pay really close attention) but there are several people rock climbing. It was pretty awesome to see!

Valentine's Day

Valentines Day was awesome. Valentines Day was on a Tuesday and I had the day off. David did work, but he worked until 5:30pm, so we were able to celebrate it and do something fun. I usually walk from school to Dave's work, where I usually sit in the car and wait until he gets off. Well that day, I did the usual. I made the 20 minute walk from school to Dave's work, got the car keys from Dave, and then went to sit on the car. To my surprise, there was a red rose and a white rose with a red envelope very neatly placed in the passenger seat. I was not expecting roses and a card from David, because we had plans for dinner that night, I immediately opened the red envelope and it contained a Valentines card. I read it and it was the sweetest thing! Inside the card David had hand written four little pieces of paper. One had a "free breakfast in bed" another one was, "free dinner with dish-washing," "two free back scratches" and so on! I started to laugh  and cry all at the same time. I am certainly lucky to have such a nice husband. 

That night, we went to Carrabas Italian Grill in Orem. It was really tasty!

Happy Valentines Day!

Welcoming the year 2012!

This was the first year that I celebrated New Years in Utah. Last year we celebrated it with our families in Reno. This year, we were in Utah and we were able to celebrate it with Grandma and Grandpa Bolingbroke. Vickie and Mike were also there and all the Bolingbroke family. We saw some of David's uncles and aunts. We had a lot of fun playing games with the family.

Christmas! 2011

I was so sad to leave Reno! We had so much fun with all our family and friends. Ruth and Jordan were not leaving until another week, and so it was hard for me to leave my family behind. My sisters and I decided to take pictures and enjoy each others company one last time!

Turkey Trot 10k Run 11/23/2011

For Thanksgiving, David and I were able to visit our families in Reno.  A day before Thanksgiving, we woke up and went to Scheels to get ready for the big 5k race that we were so anxious to run! Haha.I signed up for fun and it was a neat experience.

Jonathan's Baby Blessing 11/06/2011

David and I went to Las Vegas to visit  my brother Rudy and his wife Jamie. The baby blessing was going to be on Sunday and so all the family got together. We had a lot of fun visiting Rudy and Jamie and getting to hang out with cute baby Jonathan. It was fun seeing all the family together! Until next time!
